Demolition, ground breaking scheduled for new Town Hall

Town officials have announced that the demolition of the former planning and recreation office on West Street will start at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 23.

Town Council member Bill Kelly is expected to drive the machinery that will flatten the structure.

On Tuesday, Oct. 24, a ground breaking ceremony is planned for 10 a.m. for the new Town Hall facility on Narragansett Avenue.
