Manuel F. Dutra Jr.
A lifelong resident of Jamestown, he was the son of the late Manuel F. Sr. and Lillian (Pemantel) Dutra.
Mr. Dutra was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
He was a member of Local 57 operating engineers, and was a heavy equipment operator before retiring.
He was also a member of the VFW, American Legion Arnold Zweir Post, Holy Ghost Society of Jamestown, and a life member of the Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department.
Besides his wife, he leaves five children, Donna Wood of Jamestown, Patti Campo of Jamestown, Laurie Dutra of Warwick, David Dutra of Jamestown, and Brian Dutra of Jamestown; a sister, Eileen Hamill of Newport; five grandchildren, Alan Weaver Jr., Sarah Pintar,
Sammy Campo Jr., Meredith Campo and Danielle Dutra; and six great-grandchildren, Logan and Alexandra Weaver, Gianna and Shane Pintar, and Cody and Myla Campo. He was the brother of the late Lillian Dutra Joyal Bogedin.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mark Church on Monday. Burial with military honors followed in St. Mark Cemetery.
