End-of summer teen trips filling fast

Jamestown teens have several opportunities to get some end-of-summer fun in before school starts.

On Friday, Aug. 19, teens will travel to the Washington County Fair, departing the Conanicut Grange Hall, 10 West St., at 4 p.m. and returning at 10 p.m. Space is limited to 12 students and tickets are $15. Preregistration is required.

On Sunday, Aug. 21, the trip will be to Adventureland Mini-golf from 2 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and departure will be from the grange hall. Pre-registration is required.

The final trip of the season is only available to teens who can demonstrate that they have completed 12 hours of community service this summer.

Eligible teens can go to Six Flags Adventure Park, departing at 10 a.m. and returning at 9 p.m.

The end-of-summer trip will cost $25 and space is limited to the first 40 teens.

All interested students must contact Melissa Minto in order to reserve seating and verify community service hours. This is first-come, first-serve, so register fast!!
