The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

R.Boren received a permit Aug. 10 to strip and reroof a house at 172 Intrepid Lane, work estimated to cost $6,000.

Bill Ritter received a permit Aug. 10 to strip and reroof the house and garage at 30 Whittier Rd., work estimated to cost $12,500.

Susan Haskell received a permit Aug. 10 to install 14 vinyl replacement windows in a house at 74 Summit Ave., work estimated to cost $9,000.

Andrea Colognese and Doriana Carella received a permit Aug. 10 to construct a new single-family home on property at 85 Gondola Ave., work estimated to cost $135,000.

Joan L. Dupee received a permit Aug. 10 to remove and replace roofing shingles at 124 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $5,600.

Janet Burns received a permit Aug. 10 to strip and reroof a house at 90 Carr Lane, work estimated to cost $15,000.

John and Joan Biddick received a permit Aug. 10 to construct a porch on the east and north sides of a house at 37 Columbia Lane, work estimated to cost $15,000.

William C. Lawrence received a permit Aug. 11 to make modifications to a house at 20 Decatur Ave., work estimated to cost $63,000.

Henry Beeuwkes received a permit Aug. 11 to erect a tent on the lawn at 170 Walcott Ave. No estimate of cost was given.

Ruth Collins received a permit Aug. 12 to overlay the existing roof at 30 Battery Lane, work estimated to cost $6,800.

Elizabeth R. Cregan received a permit Aug. 12 to erect a 30by 47-foot barn on a slab at 151 Cedar Hill Drive, work estimated to cost $24,000.

Mark Lancaster received a permit Aug. 12 to build a new garage at 388 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $125,000.

Guy Frigon received a permit Aug. 12 to build a 2860-square-foot modular home on property at 865 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $155,929.

Electrical permits

Jamestown Housing Authority received a permit Aug. 10 to wire an air conditioning unit at 45 Pemberton Ave., work estimated to cost $500.

Matt Coogan received a permit Aug. 10 to wire a new house to code at 7 Ship St., work estimated to cost $4,500.

George Dolos received a permit Aug. 10 to install a fire alarm in a building at 23 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $10,500.

Wilson Pollock received a permit Aug. 11 to repair the underground service at 33 Brook St., work estimated to cost $125.

Robert Sweet received a permit Aug. 11 to replace the service and wire an addition at 5 Starboard Ave., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Robert Walsh received a permit Aug. 12 to install a fire alarm system in a restaurant at 14 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $6,500.

Sue Foley received a permit Aug. 12 to wire an addition and revamp the service at 50 Clinton Ave., work estimated to cost $3,000.

Tony Pennine received a permit Aug. 15 to wire a pool and poolhouse at 679 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $1,400.

Mechanical permits

Jamestown Housing Authority received a permit Aug. 10 to install a five-ton air conditioning system in the community room and offices at 45 Pemberton Ave., work estimated to cost $10,120.

Peter Ceppi received a permit Aug. 10 to replace a 275-gallon oil tank at 41 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $1,000.

Jack J. Michael received a permit Aug. 15 to install an oil-fired heating system at 60 Helm St., work estimated to cost $5,000.

Plumbing permits

Ronald F. Bennett received a permit Aug. 15 to hook up the water and sewer connections at a new modular house at 91 Severance Lane, work estimated to cost $3,500.
