Author series continues at library

The Jamestown library will continue its Meet the Authors series with a talk tonight by novelist Whit Johnston.

Johnston is the author of “80,” published by Carroll & Graff in 2004.

Besides being a writer, Johnston has had some of his video work shown at both the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum in New York City. He is the author of the “History of Country Music,” which was written for the Grand Ole Opry. Next summer, Johnston is scheduled to be a fellow at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, N.M. The meeting is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 424-7280.
