The Jamestown recreation department’s popular dance classes for children, taught by Mary Beth Murphy, will resume Sept. 12 at the golf course.

Creative Dance for age 4 will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. Pre-Ballet for 5-year-olds will meet on Mondays from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.

Ballet Basics for 6 and 7-year-olds will meet on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Classical Ballet for 8 to 10-year-olds will be held on Wednesdays from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Jazz class for children ages 10 to 12 will meet Mondays from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

The fee for the fall term, which runs from Sept. 12 to Jan. 20, is $200 per child. Class size is limited, so pre-registration is strongly recommended. Register at the Planning Office on West Street. Call Murphy at 423-2691 for more information.
