Everyone can learn to knit!

Children and teens are invited to learn to knit a scarf or hat with instructor Julia Montminy.

Free knitting classes for children ages 9 and up will be held on two consecutive Thursdays, Sept. 22 and 29 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Yarn and needles will be supplied. Registration is required and class is limited to the first 10 children.

Two Sunday sessions for all ages will be held on Oct. 16 and 30 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Sunday classes are open to all levels of expertise. Participants should bring their own needles and yarn. Registration is not needed for the Sunday classes.

Knitting classes will take place in the children’s area of the library.
