Alice Eva Dunlevy, 67
Alice Eva Dunlevy, 67, of 25 Bay St., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in her home.
She was the beloved wife of Raymond Dunlevy.
Born in Providence on June 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Emile Joseph and the late Marie Jeanette (Guenet) Houle. Mrs. Dunlevy was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Newport Hospital in 1959. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout member of St. Mark Church in Jamestown. Mrs. Dunlevy’s love of books led her to a second career as a library aid at the Jamestown Philomenian Library for over 20 years. She also loved to watch the birds and squirrels that frequented the many feeders in her yard.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Dunlevy is survived by her four children, Ronald of Cranston, Jennifer Jones of Saunderstown, Peter of Homer, Alaska, and Timothy of Charleston, S.C., and her four sisters, Jeanette Houle of Richmond, Carol Buckley of Narragansett, Vivian Sherman of Charlestown, and Camille Knowles of Latimer, Iowa. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Zachary, Maggie, Keenan, and Caitlin.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Oct. 3, at St. Mark Church. Burial was private.
