Program helps homeowners learn how to protect their wells
Homeowners can learn how to protect their well water at an upcoming program at the library.
The Oct. 27 program is one of several being run by the state Department of Health, the URI Cooperative Extension Water Quality Program, in addition to local agencies and organizations.
During the workshop, homeowners will learn how to protect their drinking water through regular testing, maintenance, and good housekeeping practices.
The program will be from 7 to 9 p.m. and is free of charge. Registration is required in advance. Call 874-5398.
