The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

Chris and Beth Small received a permit Sept. 29 to remodel a kitchen and make other improvements to the house at 48 Top O the Mark, work estimated to cost $27,800.

Franklin Julian received a permit Sept. 30 to install a 10by 15-foot shed on property at 7 Columbia Lane, work estimated to cost $3,535.

James and Alfreda Baccala received a permit Sept. 30 to add 6 feet to an existing deck at 156 Seaside Drive, work estimated to cost $5,000.

Michael Brown received a permit Sept. 30 to build an addition at 21 Baldwin Court, work estimated to cost $53,000.

Edward Gillerin received a permit Sept. 30 t o strip and reroof a house at 60 Hamilton Ave., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Christian and Kelly Cowan received a permit Oct. 6 to install a new shed at 19 Melrose Ave., work estimated to cost $2,500.

Jules Friedman received a permit Oct. 6 to put larger windows in the house and resurface the deck at 52 Ledge Rd., work estimated to cost $32,000.

Catherine M. Kelleher received a permit Oct. 7 to build a new entry at 58 Clinton Ave., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Eleanor M. Chase received a permit Oct. 6 to strip and reroof the house at 430 Gondola Ave., work estimated to cost $5,000.

Demolition permits

Joan Swift received a permit Oct. 6 to demolish a house at 40 Emerson Rd., work estimated to cost $6,000.

Howard W. Morrison received a permit Oct. 6 to demolish an accessory building at 256 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $7,000.

Electrical permits

Peter Flood received a permit Sept. 29 to wire the air conditioning system and replace the panel at 864 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $1,000.

Phillip Brian received a permit Sept. 30 to wire for a back-up generator at 150 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Mike O’Neill received a permit Oct. 5 to build a 16by 10-foot addition at 104 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $18,000.

Stephen Cotroneo received a permit Oct. 6 to wire a house per code at 89 Spindrift St., work estimated to cost $4,500.

James Morgan received a permit Oct. 6 to install a fire alarm system at 57 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $10,000.

Art Washburn received a permit Oct. 6 to install a class B fire alarm system at 34 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $6,000.

Karen McKinney received a permit Oct. 9 to revamp the service at 41 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $1,200.

Mechanical permits

Peter Flood received a permit Sept. 29 to install air conditioning in the basement and a bedroom at 864 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $13,000.

William Westall received a permit Oct. 6 to install a new boiler at 84 Pemberton Ave., work estimated to cost $3,000.

Tom Theisen received a permit Oct. 6 to install a new boiler at 203 Beacon Ave., work estimated to cost $6,800.

Plumbing permits

Howard Morrison received a permit Sept. 29 to finish plumbing a house at 706 East Shore Rd. No estimate of costs was given.

Tom Theisen received a permit Oct. 6 to rough-in a basement bathroom at 203 Beacon Ave., work estimated to cost $1,200.
