Don’t duck out of this JCT musical
In a week, Jamestown Community Theatre will begin performances for its November musical, “HONK!”
We have had announcements and ads in the newspapers and many of you already have purchased tickets, but now, for those of you undecided, here are reviews of the original production in England, then some others from the U.S.A. Please read them carefully, and then decide if this show is for you.
Personally, I think you will miss out on a grand time in theater if you aren’t an audience member for this wildly entertaining show.

Performances are: Friday, Nov.11, Saturday, Nov.12, Sunday, Nov. 13, Family Night on Thursday, Nov. 17, Friday, Nov. 18, Saturday, Nov. 19, Friday and Saturday performances are at 7 p.m., Sunday matinee is at 4 p.m.
There will not be a performance on Sunday, Nov. 20, but the Thursday, Nov. 17, performance at 6:30 p.m. will be a “family performance” with all tickets costing $5.
Tickets are on sale now at Baker’s Pharmacy, the Secret Garden, and Conanicut Marine srvices in Jamestown, at Pleasant Surprise in Newport, and at Midnight Sun in Wickford.
Tickets cost $12 for adults if purchased ahead of time and $15 at the door. For seniors 65 and over and children 12 and under, tickets cost $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
On Family Night, tickets will cost $5.
There will be a special free show for seniors on dress rehearsal night, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. A Community Theatre member will hand out all tickets for that performance to seniors who frequent the meal site at the Jamestown Senior Center.
