Attorneys open Jamestown office
Brian Haskell, Sandra Trocki, and Kristine Trocki have opened a new law office in Jamestown. Jamestowner Kristine S. Trocki and Brian R. Haskell, of Wickford, have opened Haskell Trocki, a new law firm at 38D Narragansett Ave., next to Anita Haircut and Chopmist Charlie’s.
Trocki and Haskell left their busy Providence practices to join forces in the more tranquil setting of Jamestown.
Trocki is a 1999 graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law. She focuses on civil litigation, including business litigation, employment discrimination claims, employment agreement and non-competition agreement disputes, and other employer/ employee matters.
In addition, Trocki represents individuals in personal injury claims, including medical malpractice,
automobile injury, and
product liability claims. Trocki Islanders invited to Feb. 2 open house also handles a variety of landlord/ tenant, collection, domestic, and criminal matters.
“It has been my goal since I finished law school to open my own office in Jamestown. When the Narragansett Avenue space opened up, we decided that there was no better time to make it happen,” Trocki said.
Haskell, formerly with a major Wall Street firm and a former partner at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, is a business lawyer with over 11 years’ experience.
Haskell represents individuals, companies, start-ups, shareholders, and business executives in all manner of commercial transactions, including business formation, debt and equity finance, acquisition or sale of a business, executive employment agreements and compensation, and shareholder disputes.
“I am thrilled to have opened a practice in Jamestown. I am looking forward to sharing my experience at bigger firms with the local community,” Haskell said. “My practice dovetails nicely with Kristine’s. Together, we can handle almost any legal matter we are likely to face.”
Also joining the firm as office manager is Kristine’s mother, Sandra Trocki, who responsibilities include client relations, billing, file management, and occasionally entertaining her grandson Teddy or Brian’s three children, Nicholas, Jacob and Natalie, when they visit after school.
Haskell Trocki officially opened its doors Jan. 1 after nearly three months of office renovation. The partners have finally cleaned the paint off their fingers, put the construction and decorating tools away, donned their pinstripes and are working full time in the practice of law.
