Book group takes up McCullers novel

The Afternoon Book Discussion at the Jamestown library continues on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m. with “The Member of the Wedding” by Carson McCullers.

The group has chosen other titles to be discussed on following dates:

“The Bookseller of Kabul,” by Asne Seierstad, on March 14; “Gilead,” by Marilynne Robinson, on April 11; and “On Beauty,” by Zadie Smith, on May 9.

All of the books can be obtained through the Jamestown library by placing holds on one of the many copies in the state available through the Cooperating Libraries Automated Network, CLAN. The discussions are free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 423-7280.
