The next session of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Winter Breakfast Series will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Bay Voyage, 150 Conanicus Ave.

The event will feature representatives from the chamber’s legal and accounting communities who will discuss the pros and cons of incorporating businesses in Rhode Island.

They will answer questions on the legal and tax implications so attendees can learn more about what is best for their business.

This is the second session in a three-part series hosted by the island’s chamber of commerce.

“The first session held in January had a large turnout, and we hope our community finds this information helpful,” said John McCauley, chamber board member and breakfast series coordinator.

“Sessions are open to the public so we welcome non-chamber members to participate and learn more about these topics as well,” McCauley added.

The March session, to be held Thursday, March 23, will feature information on resources available to the small-business owner.

Each breakfast session costs $7.50 for Jamestown chamber members and $15 for non-chamber members. A buffet breakfast is included with registration.

Payment by cash or check may be made prior to each session or at the door.

Registration is required. Visit www.JamestownRiChamber.com on the Internet or call 423-3650.
