Potter League hosts class on Endangered Species Act

The Potter League for Animals will hold a Pet University Class on Wednesday, Feb. 15, on the Protecting the Endangered Species Act.

Hear how this act has saved hundreds of animals, fish, and plants from extinction. Learn about the 17 endangered and threatened species in Rhode Island. Garrie Mars of the Environment Council of Rhode Island will be the guest speaker.

The March Pet University will be on grooming pets. Offered the third Wednesday of each month, classes are free of charge and begin at 6:30 p.m. at the shelter on 87 Oliphant Lane in Middletown.
