Book group changes date for talk about ‘Night’

The Evening Book Discussion at the Jamestown library originally scheduled for Feb. 23 with the book “Night” by Elie Wiesel has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m.

A Romanian born Jew and barely an adolescent, Wiesel survived Auschwitz, Buna, Buchenwald, and Gleiwitz. “Night” is a memoir of his survival.

Copies of the book may be obtained by placing reserves on the books owned by CLAN libraries throughout the state.

Led by Richard Tyre, the discussion is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 423-7280. Registration is not required.
