Nancy P. Baker, 54

Nancy P. (Flynn) Baker, 54, of Walcott Avenue died Tuesday,

March 7, 2006 at Newport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Timothy E. Baker for 31 years.

Born in Norwalk,

Conn., she

was a daughter of the late William H. and Dorothy-Ann (Riley) Flynn.

Mrs. Baker was a graduate of Central Catholic Memorial High School in Norwalk and the University of Rhode Island, Class of 1974.

With her husband, she was the co-owner of Baker's Pharmacy in Jamestown and had worked as a respiratory therapist and medical assistant. A devoted volunteer, she worked with VNS Hospice and served as an assistant on many medical trips to Nicaragua. She also enjoyed sailing and became an active member of the Newport Museum of Yachting. Mrs. Baker was a communicant of St. Mark Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Ryan T. Baker; a daughter-in-law, Reagan D. Baker of Grovetown, Ga.; a son, Kevin F. Baker of Jamestown; a grandson, Cameron Sei Joong Baker. She was the sister of the late Sheila A. Flynn.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Mark Church, Jamestown. Burial was in St. Mark Cemetery.
