Yoga for teens begins next week

The Jamestown Teen Center will offer a series of four yoga classes for teens. Classes will be held in the Teen Center Wednesdays and Fridays, March 29 and 31, and April 5 and 7 from 4 to 5:15 p.m.

The class will be appropriate for beginners and those with some yoga experience. Particpants should bring a mat if they have one and wear clothes that they can move and stretch in with comfort and ease. Classes will be led by Gretchen Conn of Jamestown. She has been studying yoga for 14 years in the Iyengar Method and is now completing a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training course at Innerlight Center for Yoga and Meditation in Middletown.

Registration is suggested but not required.

The classes are free and students may sign up for all four classes or for any days that they can attend. Contact Melissa Minto at 7410562 or jamestownteens@yahoo.com for more information.
