Holy Week services planned by churches

Central Baptist Church

Central Baptist Church will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 p.m. and have their Easter Sunday service at 9:30 a.m.

Jamestown Chapel

The Jamestown Chapel will hold their regularly scheduled Sunday service at 9:30 a.m., which will be followed by refreshments. Sunday school is cancelled for the week.

St. Mark Church

St. Mark Roman Catholic Church will celebrate the Lord's Supper tonight at 7 p.m. and will have two services - a 3 p.m. ecumenical service and a 7 p.m. Good Friday service tomorrow.

On Saturday, the Easter Vigil will be at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday Masses are at 8:30 and 10 a.m.

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church

St. Matthew's Parish invites everyone to a Maundy Thursday potluck dinner on April 13 at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Holy Eucharist and stripping of the altar.

Good Friday, services are the 3 p.m. Ecumenical liturgy at St Mark Church and a 7 p.m. liturgy at St. Matthew's.

The Easter Vigil is on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., followed by refreshments in the parish hall. Easter day services include the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Eucharist services with music. An Easter egg hunt for children will follow the 10 a.m. service.
