TV stolen

A resident of High Street told police April 14 that the house was entered and a 32-inch television was taken. Police said that a door and a window had been damaged to gain entry to the house.

Larcenies reported

+ A boat owner reported that someone entered his boat docked at Conanicut Marina and used the lobster traps on board. They also removed a wooden dolly that was on the boat, police said, adding it was later recovered.

+ A man at 1 North Main Rd. reported April 15 the theft of three boxes of flatware.

+ Residents of Columbia Avenue reported April 13 that two vehicles were entered while parked in their driveway. Taken were a digital camera and a pair of gloves, police said.

+ A Columbia Avenue resident told police April 13 that a transistor radio was taken from his parked car.

Vandalism reported

+ A resident of Columbia Avenue told police April 17 that someone had spray painted initials on a decorative object in the yard.

+ A Windsor Street resident reported April 17 that a stake marking the corner of her yard was damaged and the bumper of her car was dented.

+ AWhittier Road resident told police April 11 that a window screen in the house was damaged.

+ An East Shore Road resident reported April 11 that the wood railing of a deck adjacent to the water was removed and apparently used as firewood.
