Alzheimer's topic of talk this morning
There will be a talk on how to cope with Alzheimer's disease on Thursday, May 4, at 10 a.m. in the St. Matthew's Parish Hall.
Rita St. Pierre, program director of the Rhode Island chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, will talk about the progression of the illness and the needs of families and caretakers. She will give information on resources for help and respite care.
A question-and-answer period will follow the talk.
The session is free and open to anyone with an interest in the topic. The event is sponsored by St. Matthew's church.
