Growing a home-based business

The Rhode Island MicroEnterprise Association, Inc. and the North Kingstown Free Library will present a free workshop for prospective owners of home-based businesses.

Participants can learn how to start and grow a business by attending this workshop. This two-hour workshop will cover many of the questions faced by all new home-based/micro entrepreneurs. This workshop will explore the joys and challenges of turning a business idea into reality. Many of the world's largest businesses began in someone's home. Find out if home-based business ownership is a good career choice. Meet experts on the topic.

Funded by the Rhode Island MicroEnterprise Association, Inc., the workshopwill be held on Thursday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the, North Kingstown Free Library, 100 Boone St. in North Kingstown. Ann Marie Marshall, state director of the Rhode Island MicroEnterprise Association and also a microbusiness owner, will present the workshop. This program is guaranteed to be 100 percent educational and 150 percent motivational.
