The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

Anthony Longo received a permit May 10 to extend the house by 12 feet on the east side of the house at 1323 North Main Rd., work estimated to cost $30,000.

Elliot Brown received a permit May 10 to make a two-bedroom addition on the west side of the house at 92 High St., work estimated to cost $125,000.

John and Mary Jane Murphy received a permit May 10 to reshingle and reroof the house at 65 Hamilton Ave., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Florence Iwuc received a permit May 11 to build a 10by 16foot shed on property at 60 Ferry St., work estimated to cost $2,500.

Tom and Barbara Sitsch received a permit May 11 to replace windows and doors and move the kitchen in the house at 79 Columbia Lane, work estimated to cost $50,000.

Barbara Bennett received a permit May 11 to reroof the house at 16 Boom St., work estimated to cost $5896.

Janice Matthews received a permit May 12 to build a new house and demolish the existing foundation at 5 Decatur Ave., work estimated to cost $500,000.

Jon and Marianne Eckert received a permit May 15 to reshingle the roof and sides and to build a small addition on the front of the house at 17 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $63,000.

Mechanical permits

Fred Basso received a permit May 11 to install a new heating system in the house at 115 America Way, work estimated to cost $6,000.

Plumbing permits

Tom Sitsch received a permit May 11 to move a sink at 79 Columbia Lane, work estimated to cost $1,000.

Robert Bailey received a permit May 12 to install plumbing in a 3.5-bath house at 12 Bay St., work estimated to cost $12,000..
