Narragansett Cafe to re-open soon

Although we had hoped to have everything done and be open for Memorial Day weekend, as of this writing it doesn't look like we will have our fire sprinkler system up and running this week. Our new water main service on Green Lane will probably be installed tomorrow or the next day after which we will excavate and bring the 6inch line into our basement and complete our hookup. Barring unforseen circumstances, this will take place next week. We also plan to have the new kitchen completed enough by next week to have the state Department of Health down for its inspection. I apologize to all for yet another delay, but be assured there is no one who wants to see this job finished and the Cafe open more than me. I feel confident that we will have things wrapped up in a week or so to coincide with the completion of the Narragansett Avenue dig and the opening up of the downtown area, all of which will be in time for the start of a great summer. It won't be long now. Thanks for your patience and hope to see you all soon.

Danny Alexander,

Narragansett Caf

P.S. If there's anyone who does a lot of grilling and smoking on the barbie, I have quite a bit of hickory trimmings left from the floor. Stop by with a 5-gallon bucket.
