Teens to mentor teens at session on May 31

The Jamestown Teen Center and Student Assistance will host a "question and answer" session for all Jamestown eighth-grade students on Wednesday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Teen Center, 6 West St.

Student representatives from North Kingstown High School, the Prout School, Rocky Hill, Moses Brown, LaSalle Academy, Bishop Hendricken, and more will form an informal panel to discuss any and all questions that students may have about what to expect in their first year of high school.

This session is open to students only and a question box will be available throughout the evening for anonymous questions. Refreshments will be provided and admission is free. Parent volunteers may help by cooking food for the teens. For more information contact Melissa Minto, teen co-ordinator, at jamestownteens@ yahoo.com or Student Assistance Counselor Stephanie Wordell at swordell23@cox.net
