Sign language for babies slated

The Jamestown library will present a program by Lori Casey Halloran, who is a speaker on the topic of Signing Smart, sign language for babies.

Halloran will conduct a 45minute introductory workshop for parents on this new topic. This program is designed to help parents better understand the linguistic and cognitive milestones of the first two years of a child's life. The Signing Smart program is an international program that has worked successfully with tensh tens of thousands of families learning to sign with their young hearing children. This program will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at the library. Call the library at 423-7280 or Halloran at 423-3327 for more information.
