Coastal Growers' Market open this weekend

Coastal Growers Market, which operates at Casey Farm in Saunderstown, features highquality, Rhode Island-grown produce and homemade products, including two Jamestown businesses. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday, rain or shine, until Oct. 28. Throughout the season, the growers will host several special celebrations and demonstrations.

Historic New England and Casey Farm host the market at 2325 Boston Neck Rd., on Route 1A just south of Route 138. Customers are invited to take in the beautiful landscape, enjoy some local folk music, and chat with friends while selecting from a variety of hard-to-find products, including organic produce, grassows, artisan-made fed beef, artisan made breads, fresh cut flowers and more.

Two Jamestown businesses, the Village Hearth Bakery, which sells breads and pastries, and Watson Farm, selling beef and lamb, will be at the growers' market each weekend.
