The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

The Holy Ghost Society received a permit May 16 to erect a 20by 30-foot tent Aug. 12, on property at 138 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $20.

Ruth D. McIntyre and Patrick McIntyre received a permit May 16 to build a new 3,300-squarefoot house on property at 51 Bryer Ave., work estimated to cost $320,000.

Kenneth and Linda Vario received a permit May 16 to construct a new four-bedroom house with an attached garage at 27 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $177,000.

The town of Jamestown received a permit May 16 to put up tents for a festival on June 23. No cost estimate was given.

Astrid Mendes received a permit May 17 to remodel the kitchen at 905 North Main Rd., work estimated to cost $41,000.

Frank Fornari received a permit May 19 to construct three additions, a garage, deck and porch on a house at 137 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $465,000.

Jane M. Mitchell received a permit May 19 to reroof the house at 20 Washington St., work estimated to cost $2,500.

Regnum LLC received a permit May 19 to install a new sign at 3 Ferry Wharf, work estimated to cost $2,000.

Electrical permits

Sandie and John Heffernan received a permit May 17 to install a security system in a house at 262 Seaside Drive, work estimated to cost $3,057.

Mechanical permits

Michael Slattery received a permit May 17 to replace a boiler at 64 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $3,000.
