Art gallery presents artist-in-residence
Randall Art Gallery will have a summer-long one-man show featuring the works of David Schock. Schock will be handling gallery operations while the Randalls look for a permanent manager for their gallery. As an artist-in-residence, Schock will be both painting and exhibiting in the space. Look for announcements of portrait demonstrations, artist lectures, and shows by guest artists, as well as the opportunity to see the newest work by this widely-collected artist.
Schock lives and maintains a studio in Wakefield with his wife and family, who are often the subjects of his paintings. The latest original paintings and prints from the artist's studio can currently be seen at Randall Art Gallery, 65 Narragansett Ave. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, from 1-6 p.m. Call 423-0707 for more information.
