Library book sale starts on July 6
The annual book sale at the Jamestown library will open Thursday, July 6, at 7 p.m. with a paid preview.
Some little-used and muchloved volumes will be available at great prices. The admission will be free for paid-up members of the Friends of the Library and cost $10 for non-members. The sale will continue until
Saturday, July 22, at 2 p.m. Prices are $2 for hardcover books, $1 for paperbacks, $1 for children's hardcover books, and 50 cents for children's paperback books. There are specially priced books available, including a table of Jamestown and Rhode Island history.
The library can accept donations for the sale up until Monday, July 3.
After July 3, everyone is asked to hold donations until after the sale is over, and the library starts accepting book donations again in August.
