Creatures of the deep this Saturday at library
Biomes Marine Biology Center will present a program for children ages 4 and up that features many marine animals. The program is part of the Summer Reading Program, "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales"
This free program will take place on Saturday, July 1, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the Jamestown library meeting hall. Registration is not necessary.
The Biomes Traveling Coastline Exhibit is an interactive presentation featuring live marine animals from Rhode Island's coastline. A biologist will teach kids and their families all about the animals that share the ocean. Petting them is allowed.
The Biomes Marine Biology Center is a privately owned education center located in North Kingstown. It specializes in hands-on marine biology programs for schools and families throughout Southern New England.
