Another great year for Island baseball

On Saturday, June 16, Jamestown baseball officially concluded its season. As it turned out, each team's fiercest opponent turned out to be the weather. However, with determination and fortitude, games were played as best as they could be. Our closing ceremonies were great thanks to the help of Ron Barber for coordinating all the trophies and awards.

Despite the weather, players had fun and I want to commend them for their dedication and sportsmanship. There are many, many people to thank, and I'm going to try and cover them all.
