Garden tours to benefit plant society

The Rhode Island Wild Plant Society will hold a Town & Country Garden Tour on July 15 and 16.

In all, 18 gardens will be open for touring between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the "country" gardens will be open. They are all in the towns of Foster and North Scituate. On Sunday, the "town" gardens in Cranston and Providence will be open for touring.

Tickets cost $20 for members and $25 for non-members of the society. Call 453-3777 for more information.
