St. Matthew's hosts 75th summer sale on July 15

St. Matthew's 75th summer sale will be held on the church grounds, 87 Narragansett Ave., on Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 1p.m., rain or shine.

The sale will feature St. Matthew's now-famous lobster rolls, and an outdoor grill serving homemade chowder, hot dogs and hamburgers, and a tropical tiki punch stand. A large selection of home-baked goods will be for sale.

There will be children's games, a large selection of toys, and a great selection of books, green thumb items, household furniture, small appliances, sporting goods, and attic treasures for all tastes and budgets.

St. Matthew's popular Thrift Shop will be open during the sale. Inside the Parish Hall, this year's silent auction will offer bidding opportunities for new and nearly new items of all descriptions, including antiques and collectibles. Winners not present will be notified by telephone. Proceeds of this annual event benefit the operation and outreach ministries of the parish.
