The 28th annual South County Hot Air Balloon Festival will run from July 21 to 23 at the University of Rhode Island athletic fields in Kingston.

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band will headline on Friday evening.

The festival will feature about 20 balloons that will take off morning and evening and include a firefighters' muster, petting zoo, carnival rides, and a Corvette show.

Admission is $10 on Friday and $7 on Saturday and Sunday. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wakefield.
