Many helped at the Narragansett
My brother Tom and I would like to thank all our friends and patrons for their patience and support during our seven-month renovation. Obviously, it took much longer than expected, but we were able to accomplish much more than we expected. We had this one chance to do what we had to do, what the building needed.
What you see upon entering is a fraction of the work put into the building. Be assured that this is now a much stronger, safer structure, and will remain so for a long time to come. At the risk of making this sound like some sort of AcademyAwards speech, I would be remiss if I didn't publicly thank all those involved who made this renovation possible.
So, here we go: Phil, Ragu, and Bobby; Dick Rembijas; Jack Brittain and his Jack's Electric crew; Action Bob and Don Jestings and Sons; Billy Hamel; Alan and Jason Gouveia; carpet Jim and carpet Art; Steve the Plumber and his sons; Kurt, Scottie, and Josh from the Lightship Group; Billy Caswell and Able Tile; Jamestown town officials; Aquidneck Consulting Engineers; Bob Morin Architects; John the Roofer Co.; Stu Tucker and Tucker Enterprises; AJ and Mike Ferguson and Environmental Foam Systems; Jeff Gorman; Bob Hartnett; and, of course, the volunteers of the Jamestown Fire Department, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Abig thanks and a round of applause goes out to all!
