Ann B. King, 87
Ann B. King, 87, of Jamestown, formerly of Blue Ridge, Va., and Green Brook, N.J., died peacefully at home on July 19, 2006. She was the wife of Glenn E. King for 65 years.
She made her home in New Jersey with her husband and family until she retired to Virginia in 1989. They moved to Jamestown five years ago.
She was a professional bookkeeper, outstanding homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband. She and her husband have been members of Christ the King Methodist Church in Peace Dale.
She leaves three daughters, Barbara Segerstrom and her husband James of Annapolis, Md., Marsha Brome and her husband Fred of Jamestown, R.I., and Mary Kitchen and her husband Ed of Jeffersonton, Va. In addition she leaves seven grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Corrie, Dana, Caitlin, Lindsey, and Natalie; and two greatgrandchildren, Erin and Noah.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29, at 2 p.m. in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd. North Kingstown. There will be no viewing.
