Turtles, lizards and snakes at the library
Dave Marchetti of Animal Experiences will present a handson animal program for children age 4 and up and their families as part of the summer reading program, "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales." This free program will take place on Thursday, Aug. 17, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Jamestown library meeting hall.
Registration is not necessary.
For more than 20 years, Marchetti has been doing educational programs at schools, camps, and for other groups of kids and adults alike. His animals include turtles, lizards, snakes, amphibians, and small furry mammals.
This event is sponsored by the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, McDonald's Restaurants of Rhode Island, and the Friends of Jamestown Library.
