Library pre-school programs begin Sept. 13
A sing-along for preschoolers of all ages and their caregivers will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the library meeting hall.
Guitarist Kathy Fitzgerald is a Jamestown resident, author, and librarian, and she has an excellent repertoire of songs for children in both English and Spanish.
Regular preschool programs will begin the following week of Sept.18.
Mother Goose times for infants and babies through 24-monthsold will be held Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m., and the program will begin on Sept. 18. Mother Goose times will feature play rhymes, finger games, and music.
Beginning Sept. 20, Storytimes for preschoolers will held on Wednesday mornings in the Children's Room at the library. Storytime for 2-year-olds with their caregivers will be held from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m., and Storytime for 3 to 5 -year-olds with their caregivers will take place from 11:15 to noon. Both preschool Storytimes will feature stories, fingerplays, action rhymes and a simple craft activity.
Registration is not necessary for these free programs.
