Town Hall Records

The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

Edwina Cloherty received a permit Aug. 2 to strip and reroof the house, and repoint the chimney at 14 Pierce Ave., work estimated to cost $8,000.

John McCaffrey Trust received a permit Aug. 7 to replace a deck on the rear of the house at 234 Capstan St., work estimated to cost $2,000.

Ronald Rogers received a permit Aug. 7 to strip and reside the house with vinyl and install windows at 11 North Main Rd., work estimated to cost $4,450.

George and Dottie Van Coughyen received a permit Aug. 8 to erect a tent from Aug. 11 to 13 at 602 East Shore Rd. No estimate of cost was given.

The Jamestown Historical Society received a permit Aug. 8 to erect a tent at 362 North Main Rd., from Aug. 18 to 20. No cost estimate was given.

Robert P. Vickers received a permit Aug. 9 to reroof the house at 115 Seaside Drive, work estimated to cost $12,000.

Ronald F. and Linda DiMauro received a permit Aug. 10 to replace a set of stairs and a bathroom vanity at 821 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $5,600.

Kevin Merrigan received a permit Aug. 15 to strip and reroof the house at 543 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $10,972.

Electrical permits

Ernest Montoya received a permit Aug. 3 to wire a remodeled kitchen at 60 Mt. Hope Ave., work estimated to cost $850.

Ken Vario received a permit Aug. 7 to install 200 amp service and wire the new house to code at 27 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $4,600.

Felix Porcaro received a permit Aug. 10 to install low-voltage lighting and controls at 2 Coulter St., work estimated to cost $3,000.

Felix Porcaro received a permit Aug. 16 to install an alarm system in a house at 2 Coulter St., work estimated to cost $2,000.

Mechanical permits

Peter French received a permit Aug. 3 to install a woodstove in a fireplace and install a gas insert in another fireplace at 95 America Way, work estimated to cost $6,200.

Richard Casey received a permit Aug. 3 to install a gas insert in a fireplace at 124 Southwest Ave., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Robert Crook received a permit Aug. 3 to add one zone of baseboard heat and a triple-wall chimney at 7 Hull St., work estimated to cost $3,000.

Kim Goodwin received a permit Aug. 7 to install a new gas boiler and hot water heater at 631 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $7,000.

Peter Corsi received a permit Aug. 9 to add one zone of heat at 43 Summit Ave., work estimated to cost $4,200.

Aram Dermanouelian received a permit Aug. 16 to install a new boiler and hot water heater at 556 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $8,000.

Plumbing permits

Kim Goodwin received a permit Aug. 7 to install drains, vents, and fixtures at 631 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $15,000.

Peter Corsi received a permit Aug. 7 to install a lavette over the garage at 43 Summit Ave., work estimated to cost $412.
