Dutch Island benefit a success!
On behalf of the board of the Dutch Island Lighthouse Society, I'd like to thank the local restaurants who made our recent fundraiser, Aug 27, such a rollicking if slightly damp success. Michael Jacquard from the Bay Voyage brought his crew to make overthe top hors d'oeuvres made by executive chef Michael Civalli, and a newcomer, Stephanie Basile brought her two executive chefs, Steve Thorlton and Christopher Nardoza, from Valuna Taverna to debut hors d'oeuvres from their new fall menu. Valuna Taverna is where Heffie's used to be, just across the Jamestown Bridge. Thanks so much for responding so generously!
