NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC

HEARING ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2006, AT THE

JAMESTOWN LIBRARY, 26 NORTH ROAD, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON

THE FOLLOWING:

Application of Eirene et George Dolos as owners, and Jamestown Recreation Dept. as Tenants, whose property is located at 23 Narragansett Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor's Plat 9, Lot 568 for a Special Use Permit from Article 3, Section 82-301, Table 3-1, IV, #12. Recreation Hall to allow the use of the second floor office area for a Teen Center. Said property is located in a CD zone and contains 5,375 sq. ft.

Application of James A. Thompson et Pamela A. Storey and Jamestown Recreation Dept., whose property is located at 32 Pemberton Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor's Plat 8, Lot 84 for a Special Use Permit from Article 3, Section 82-301, Table 3-1, IV, #12. Recreation Hall to allow the use of one (1) 850 sq. ft. office area for exercise and dance lesson classes held by the Jamestown Recreation Department. Said property is located in a CL zone and contains 12,300 sq. ft.

ADMINISTRATIVE

DECISION

An application for modification has been submitted to the Zoning Enforcement Officer, pursuant to Article 6, Section 609 of the Jamestown Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Enforcement Officer has decided that the request is consistent with the requirements of 609. You have the right to file a written objection to this determination and, if timely filed, the request for modification shall be denied. If no written objections are received within thirty (30) days of SEPTEMBER 7, 2006, the modification shall be granted.

Application of Edwina S. Cloherty, whose property is located at 14 Pierce Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor's Plat 9, Lot 494 for a variance from Article 3, Table 3-2, (District Dimensional Regulations) to construct a 3 Season Room/Enclosed Porch 22.5' from the rear lot line instead of the required 30'. Said property is located in a R20 zone and contains 9,000 sq. ft.
