Charles S. Caldwell, 57

Charles S. Caldwell, 57, of Intrepid Lane died S a t u r d a y , Sept. 2, 2006 at Rhode I s l a n d Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Jane (Hamilton) Caldwell and father of Matthew S., Sarah J., and Meghan E. Caldwell.

Born in Providence, a son of Margaret J. (McKay) Caldwell and the late Raymond S. Caldwell, he was the brother of Connie Phillips and Nancy Caldwell-Kingman.

He lived in Warwick before moving to Jamestown in 1978. He was a systems analyst for American Systems, Corp. for many years, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of the Bronze Star.

His funeral service was held Wednesday from the FaganQuinn Funeral Home. Burial with military honors was in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation, 125 Carlsbad St., Cranston, RI, 02920 will be appreciated.
