Teens plan 'monster bash'

The Jamestown PTO and the Jamestown Teen Center invite the community to the second annual Monster Bash on Friday, Oct. 27, at the Jamestown Fire Station. Festivities for children through grade 6 will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Children in pre-K to first grade are encouraged to come from 4 to 5 p.m.

There will be games, activities, music, and food for the little ones and costumes are encouraged for both parents and kids!

After the little ones leave, all brave teens are invited to climb through the Haunted Stairway and join in for scary movies, a fortune teller, palm reader, games, music, and treats from 8 to 11 p.m. There will be no re-entry once inside the party, so all teens should plan to stay until they exit for the evening.

Admission for the bash is $5 per person or $4 with a canned good or non-perishable food item. All collected food will be donated to the Rhode Island Food Bank to support the upcoming holiday season.

Anyone who would like to help chaperone, make food, or put up Halloween decorations can call Dori at 423-1188 or e-mail Melissa at jamestownteens@yahoo.com.
