Looking for the perfect tree

It is way too early to start thinking about Christmas! But not too early to think about the town Christmas tree. For more than two decades, the tree erected at East Ferry has been donated by generous Jamestowners. We are now scouting out potential trees for this year. In addition to having the tree professionally removed at no cost, contributors know that they have greatly added to the joy and wonder of this special celebration. Island residents that might like contribute an impressive conifer should give me a call at 423-9621.

Mark Baker,
