Audubon weekend events
On Friday, November 24, there's more in store than simply leftovers. Stop by the Environmental Education Center in Bristol for a day filled with crafts, nature stories and animal discoveries. All programs are free with the price of admission. No registration is required. Here's the line-up:
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nature Craft Table, 10:30 a.m. Tidepool Talk,
11:30 a.m. Nature Story: Owl Moon, 1:30 p.m. Nature Program: Habitats,
3:30 p.m. Animal Discovery program.
On Saturday, November 25 at 8:30 a.m. you're all invited to take a special Fall Bird Walk, followed by hot coffee, cocoa and refreshments. Remember to bring your binoculars for a really good view of the special feathered friends hanging out at our wildlife refuge. Registration is required, but the program is free with the price of admission.
Admission to the Audubon Society's Environmental Education Center is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children 4-12. Children under four and Audubon Society of Rhode Island members are free.
