Discuss Dorothy Parker tonight at library

The Evening Book Discussion, featuring short stories and poems of the great Dorothy Parker, will be held at the Jamestown library tonight, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m.

Dorothy Rothschild Parker, 1893-1967, was a celebrated conversationalist renowned for her literary contributions and founder of the "Algonquin Round Table." She was a feminist and one of the most successful literary writers of her day.

Copies of her stories and poems will be available at the Jamestown library. Free and open to the public, the discussion will be led by Jamestowner Richard Tyre.
