Tour South County homes

A tour of elegant homes in South County will be on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Under the sponsorship of the South County Cultural Coalition, eight private homes, all architectural gems, from the 18th and 19th centuries will be open to the public. Tickets cost $20 in advance, $25 on tour day, and may be purchased at Smith's Castle in North Kingstown or the South County Museum in Narragansett. Call 294-3521 for more information.
