Narrow river group to hold annual meeting

The Narrow River Preservation Association invites members and the public to its 36th annual meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Coastal Institute Auditorium, URI Bay Campus, South Ferry Road, Narragansett.

Refreshments will be served at 7 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:30.

The feature presentation, "Narrow River Watershed Storm Water Where We've Been, and What's Next," will be given by Jeffrey Ceasrine, Narragansett's town engineer. He will present a brief summary of watershed activities that Narragansett has been involved in over the past 10 to 15 years. These include the ongoing collaborative work with state Department of Environmental Management to design best management practices for storm water outfalls.
