Teen signing course offered

The Jamestown Teen Center will offer an American Sign Language course for all students in grades 7 to 12.

The class will meet on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Conanicut Grange, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 20. Other meeting dates are Sept. 27, Oct. 4 and 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 29,

Dec. 6 and 13. The class will be taught by Jamestown resident Gemma Guinguing, who was Miss Deaf Rhode Island in 2005. Space is limited and registration is required.
